They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man's eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, "Do you see anything?" He looked up and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking around." Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. Jesus sent him home, saying, "Don't go into the village. (Mc 8,22-26)
After having seen so many pines, and just in case someone is still not satisfied with them, here there are some final considerations, in spite of feeling myself as the one who explains a joke to an unpleasant audience, for those who haven4t still got the synthesis and beauty of the simple but rich symbol that the Blessed Virgin has chosen to leave us a sign of God.

The pine, four letters and four parts, like four are the syllables of the word Garabandal and four are the Cardinal points, which takes root on the earth where man lives, and like a natural arrow, points to the sky where God reigns. ?What does the pine, that so familiar christmas guest, invite us to do?

It is possible that any evil anchoring being has already thought: "Great, let4s go to cut down Garabandal pines!". Sad thought. To destroy the symbol that invites us to convert is just the symbol of damnation...

It is convenient to remind about the Chastisement of God4s justice, that socratic argument which says that committing injustice is worse than suffering from it, and even worse doing it with impunity...

We should remind that the Paradise tree was both to know the good and the evil. It4s enough for us to eat the apple, let4s try right away the fruit of good, the one which brings to us the lasting happiness!
